HEWI seat concept receives award - functional aspects from Comfort to Care

The HEWI sear concept has won the iF product design award 2012 and is one of the winners of the renowned iF label – judged from 2,923 submissions.
HEWI has developed and innovative seat concept for the home, public areas and the professional care sector. There are two minimalistic folding seats for the home; as accessories that offer additional comfort and convenience when showering. The folding seat with backrest enables comfortable support and safety and complies with DIN 18040; it is therefore suitable for both home care and public use. The removable hanging seat, which fulfils the highest comfort, safety, hygiene and handling requirements, is suitable for professional care. As a mobile seat unit it can be used flexibly.
