HEWI was recently awarded the Iconic Award 2022 for the extended range of materials in the 270 series. Iconic Award 2022: Innovative Architecture - Best of Best in the category Product - Building Technologies for outstanding design quality.

The elegant door handles from the Series 270 designed by the well-known architect and designer Hadi Teherani are not only aesthetically pleasing, but are also a tactile experience and have long since become timeless classics. The fact that HEWI now offers the high-quality door handles in over 4,500 colours from the HEWI colour world immensely expands the creative possibilities for planners and designers. A solution that is as attractive as it is exciting.

bicolor

Consisting of two materials, bicolour allows for an unusual mix. Roses made of stainless steel and with metallic finishes in PVD enclose a coloured inlay of polyamide. This creates exciting contrasts with matt surfaces that give the rosette a velvety touch. The door handle and the inlay in deep black create elegant accents on the door. The matt-finished nuances in brass, copper or black chrome open up individual design options.

With the Iconic Awards: Innovative Architecture, the German Design Council honours the best of the best. The impartial design and architecture competition awards prizes to holistic projects in the fields of product design, architecture, interior design and brand communication.
