Centrum Alzheimera, Warschau

Poland's first Alzheimer Center is located in Warsaw. The center is structured in a multi-functional way: It is aimed toward people who have Alzheimer's. It supports relatives in dealing with the affected person and trains caregivers and nurses.

The goal is to give patients and their relatives a sense of security. The therapy center is like a "protective cover" for affected persons. The premises is very spacious in its layout and consists of four buildings that are connected by a park. The entire area of the Alzheimer Center is designed to be barrier-free so that people with physical limitations can also move about freely.

The barrier-free pools are outfitted with HEWI products from Range 801. The uncompromising, user-friendly design of the pools enables usage with rollators or wheelchairs thereby encouraging the independence of patients.
