The international competition of the German Design Council honours the best architectural and design solutions 2019 with the Iconic Awards. The Iconic Awards take a holistic approach to the disciplines of architecture, interior design, product, communication and concept. HEWI was honoured twice with the popular award.

HEWI was able to convince the jury and was awarded the "German Innovation Award - Winner 2019" for System 900 in the category "Excellence in Business to Business - Building and Elements".

HEWI was awarded the Universal Design Award "consumer favorite" and the Universal Design Award "expert favorite" for System 900 and was thus able to convince both the end user and the expert jury.

At the world's leading trade fair for sanitary technology, the ISH in Frankfurt, the Zentralverband Sanitär Heizung Klima (ZVSHK - Central Association for Sanitary, Heating and Air Conditioning) selected the winners of the "Bathroom Comfort for Generations" product competition for the fourth time.

The winners have been determined: HEWI wins gold. System 900 convinced the jury of experts and was awarded the coveted design prize.

As the world's leading trade fair and international meeting place for the sector, ISH stands for innovations and trends in the sanitary room sector. In the world's largest showroom, HEWI is also presenting trend-setting solutions for washbasins, WCs and showers. 

2019 looks set to be a very special year. BAU, the world's leading architectural trade fair, opens its doors in January and offers HEWI a great platform for presenting new building hardware.

HEWI has received the ICONIC AWARDS 2018: Innovative Architecture twice, for both the new sanitary system 900 and also the Edition matt. The Edition matt also won a special prize in recognition of the innovative material.

The iF awards are among the most important design prizes worldwide.

With System 815, HEWI launches a new accessories range on the market. The products for the washbasin, WC and shower have an impressively discrete design and minimalistic style.
