HEWI | 1929 - 2019

Innovative by tradition

Since its foundation in 1929, HEWI has been designing solutions that always focus on people. The entrepreneurs and pioneers Heinrich Wilke and his son Rudolf Wilke developed products that combine clever functions and excellent design. Even today, 90 years after the company was founded, HEWI stands for innovations made in Germany. Many years of experience and competence in the development of innovative solutions from the door to the bathroom have made us what we are today: Experts in system design.

Serie 477/801

The classic reinterpreted: Matt edition

HEWI has decades of competence in the development of accessibility solutions. With Series 801, HEWI launched the first accessibility system on the German market 30 years ago. Since then, the series has undergone continuous development and has established itself as a classic in sanitary areas and bathrooms. Series 801 is supplemented by the accessories of Series 477. With Series 477/801, HEWI offers solutions for every requirement relating to the washstand, WC and shower. The cross-section of the round tube design is optimally adapted to the hand. The products are designed in such a way that they support movement sequences, provide security and enable independence. Living in all its forms becomes more personal, warmer, more perceptible. We remain true to our line,

but always with the claim to think ahead with our concepts. Series 477/801 is not only available in high-gloss polyamide, but also in the matt edition. The matt edition deliberately contrasts with the smart high-tech world. Instead of smooth, reflective surfaces, the Edition matt sets sensual accents and impresses with its characteristic appearance and tactile pleasure. Consistent: From door handles and sanitary accessories to comfort products and accessibility elements, HEWI enables consistent equipment, precisely tailored to the individual needs of users. Modularity, surface diversity and the highest design standards reflect our understanding of first-class design.

New washbasin models

Individual functions

Demographic change requires a rethinking of architecture and products. New living concepts are becoming more and more important. More than two thirds of those in need of care refuse to move to a nursing home and are cared for at home. The bathroom is of particular importance in this context. The new modular washbasin system from HEWI aims to meet the requirements of new, individually adaptable concepts, promotes the independence of the user and at the same time relieves the nursing staff.

With the new concept, HEWI is continuing the success story of its innovative washstand family. New models with concealed grip edges complete the range. The washbasins also have additional adaptive functions. The innovative concept enables the integration of additional holding options and storage systems directly on the washstand. The washbasins offer safety and ensure that all bathroom utensils such as soap dispensers, mugs and the like are within easy reach. The practical storage system is also suitable for wall mounting and thus offers expandable functionality and additional design options.
