HEWI MAG / Design

German architects' favourites honoured

The Architects' Darling Awards were presented by Heinze for the tenth time. HEWI was able to convince the architects in two categories at once: accessibility and fittings. In this article you will learn which product solutions were convincing and why.

HEWI received awards in two categories

Around 1,900 architects took part in the survey and determined the construction sector's favorites for 2020. We received an award in two categories at once.

HEWI was chosen as the winner in the accessibility category - so that the golden phoenix has found its way to Bad Arolsen in this category. Our solutions in the area of fittings were awarded the Architects' Darling Award in silver.

Shower seat System 900: Accessibility category receives the golden Phoenix

At HEWI, accessibility is not a feature of a special series. Accessible product solutions are integrated into all HEWI systems so that accessibility becomes a matter of course. With new design lines and surfaces, HEWI has shown in recent years that accessibility can be aesthetic.

We have given the barrier-free classic Series 477/801 a matt surface. A design statement in shades of white and grey sets the sanitary range in the Edition matt. The noble, matt surface sets accents and convinces with a very special haptic.

Our System 900 is not only the most comprehensive design line in the segment of barrier-free sanitary fittings. With its surfaces in stainless steel, chrome and powder coatings in black, white and shades of grey, the high-quality sanitaryware range offers design options for architects.

With the modular washbasin concept we were able to present an innovative and unique washbasin system in barrier-free bathroom furnishings. The washbasins can be extended with useful elements thanks to the modular system - just as the individual needs of the user require.
