Since 2005 raumprobe has been offering architects, designers, planners and manufacturers of materials a digital materials database and a physical exhibition of materials in Stuttgart. With 6,500 different materials, raumprobe holds a veritable treasure trove of inspiration. The company's focus is on innovations and new developments. As a member of raumprobe, you get to know new materials on the market first.

With its curated presentation of materials, raumprobe encourages the creative use of materials. For this purpose, they enable visitors to inquire about different materials in the exhibition or digitally. With consultations, trade fair appearances, special shows and the Materialreport publications, raumprobe has a complete range of services for creative people in architecture and interior design.

Across more than 12,000 m2, interested visitors can discover over 50,000 material samples in the exhibition in Stuttgart. True to its motto: Grasping materials. The material world is a space for inspiration and the heart of raumprobe. With specialist lectures, workshops, seminars and expert panels, you as planners and architects will benefit from the advanced training offered by the Material Academy.

Find the right building material with the digital material database

The constantly growing material database of raumprobe is a search engine for a wide variety of materials. As a member, you get access to the currently more than 6,500 building materials. Each material in the database has its own stored data sheet with information. Here you can search for the right material for your building project. With its contemporary presentation, current search technologies, keywording, favourites lists and a direct link to companies, it enables an efficient search. The database is the virtual counterpart to the exhibition in Stuttgart.

Materialreport - The magazine from raumprobe

In the Materialreport, raumprobe's trade magazine, you can learn more about the trends in the industry. The magazine is guided by the central idea: Knowing today what will be built with tomorrow. In addition to company reports, project presentations and research articles, you will also find interviews in the magazine. Materialreport is published once a year by raumprobe.

In addition to the physical magazine, raumprobe also runs an online magazine. In it you can discover trend and journal articles, portraits, material wonders and background information. The digital magazine gives you even more insights into the construction industry.

The Material Prize from raumprobe

Since 2013, raumprobe has awarded the Material Prize annually. This prize is awarded in rotation to special materials and architectural projects. In addition, raumprobe publishes a high-quality documentation of the material award in print format.
